Best Buy App Store Gift Card

I don't like how we have to retype our gift card number plus pin each time we want to use our gift cards for online purchases. Can you guys make a feature that will allow us to add our gift card balance like my best buy certificates automatically to our online purchases at checkout
Overall I do like this idea. I am concerned about problems that might arise by situations where a customer has given a gift card associated with their account to someone else. Would anyone else like to see this idea put into place Remember to vote for an idea if you like it.
Once gift card balance has been transfer over to your bestbuy.com account, the gift card will have no balance, as if it was fully redeemed. Amazon offers the same feature, where customers can redeem gift cards into their account. Which allows for faster checkout, especially for those with multiple gift cards.
Even better, work such a function into the best buy app like the target app has. In that one, you can store all your gift cards right in the app, pull them up at the register(after entering your preset PIN number to verify the right person is using it), and a bar code is produced right on your phone for the cashier to scan when it is time to pay. You can also combine multiple gift cards into one bar code if you like to cover a bigger purchase. All of which reduces the hassle of managing a pile of gift cards and both target and best buy often have gift card with purchase offers, so this issue comes up quite a bit
@inky1600 Those types of apps are neat, but they already exist and already work with Best Buy cards. What people really want is the ability (like on Amazon) to just redeem a gift card they get right to their BB account balance (similar to the way rewardzone coupons are handled: they just exist under your account info until you choose to apply them to a purchase and you don't need to print them out or carry anything around), and use it whenever they'd like when making a purchase in store or online. That way you don't have to use an app, carry a gift card around, or even remember that you have a gift card because it'll apply to your next order automatically unless you choose not to.
If you see a message that says that your card has not been properly activated, it might not have been activated by the retailer who sold the card. The best option is to go back to the retailer and try to resolve it with them.
If you see a message that says the code must be redeemed in another storefront, the card was probably purchased in another country or region. You can't redeem Apple Gift Cards or App Store & iTunes Gift Cards outside of the country or region of purchase. For example, if you bought an App Store & iTunes Gift Card in France, you can't redeem it in the App Store in the United States.

You're better off with the below deals if you want to save money, but if you've had your eye on something not heavily discounted right now (such as the iPhone 13/12/SE, new iMac or iPad Pro Magic Keyboard), you might as well get some free store credit with it.

At one time, Apple sold two gift cards: the iTunes gift card and the Apple gift card. You could only use the iTunes gift card in the App Store, while the Apple gift card was only valid at Apple retail locations. This all changed last year when Apple announced it would only have one gift card moving forward.
This initially seemed like great news because it would make buying and using Apple gift cards easier. However, there was a downside. The deep discounts (we're talking 20% off) that shoppers could find on iTunes gift cards are no more.
Thankfully, some retailers offered holiday deals to soften the blow last year. This came in the form of $10 to $15 store gift cards with the purchase of a $100 Apple gift card. While it's not the same as 20% off, it's still a deal. And we predict that we'll see something similar this year. 59ce067264
