I’ve been to so many places that felt like a one-time experience. You show up, smile, sing, and leave. No one remembers your name, no one really checks in after. I heard about this community in Melbourne that started recently, but seems to be focused on long-term relationships and discipleship. It sounds promising—but does it actually feel personal when you're there? I’m tired of surface-level gatherings.

A lot of places say they’re about community—but this one actually builds it. Saints Church Melbourne seems more interested in forming disciples than drawing crowds. You feel it when you walk in: people aren’t rushing, they’re present. That slowness and presence is rare, and honestly, needed now more than ever.
I totally get that. What surprised me at saints church Melbourne was how natural it felt to connect with people. From the first service, I didn’t feel like a guest—I felt like someone seen. They run midweek connect groups all over the city, which helped me build friendships outside of Sunday. Their focus isn’t on performance but on walking with people. That made a huge difference in how I view church now.
