My partner was just diagnosed with Parkinson’s and everything feels overwhelming. I heard some people skip the clinic and get physio at home instead. Is that even effective? From my side, I think the best part was how they involved us in setting goals. When my dad had MS, the therapist didn’t just show up and run exercises — they actually listened to what he wanted to achieve. That made it personal, not generic. You can’t get that vibe in busy clinics.
